Hudson: Permanent Foster

12/24/10:  I came into the collie rescue from an animal shelter in March of 2007.  A nice family came to adopt me and during this time we had two babies and a wonderful life.  Then something happened with the parents and our dad moved out.  Mom just couldn’t take care of all of us by herself so I came back to the rescue.  Trish who was my foster person before I was adopted immediately said I could come back to her house and live out my days with her.  I always did like it here with the horses and the cat has finally accepted me.  If you would like to help me through my senior years just click the donate button.  Hudson

Butterscotch: Permanent Foster

Butterscotch here and I came into rescue at the age of ten.  Although I came from a six member family they surrendered me because not one of them had time for me anymore.  Not to mention I was getting older and could have medical needs in the future.  Oh how they cried and were so said when I left.  After my ten years of service not one bothered to cared enough to get me a pat every now and then   Seems it is a throw away society today and it doesn’t really matter how good you are.  However now that Holly and Tom stepped up to give me a permanent foster home I get to live in the house and no longer the outside dog spending my days alone.  It is special people that take in us seniors because they know we may not be with them for long.  Therefore the rescue pays for all our medical needs and all they have to do is love us like we will be here forever.  Thank you so much Holly and Tom for giving me the first real home I have ever had.  If you would like to help with my care just hit the donate button and I would very much appreciate it.  Scotch

What’s A Collie Like? It’s Like This.

Kelly Martin and friends strike again! As if providing space and sheep for our reunion weren’t enough, Kelly has produced a great video short for us. It really shows what having a collie in your life is all about, and in only thirty seconds. Kelly would like to thank the adorable and fluffy Jordan and his people for their time and cooperation. So would we! If your local news or cable access station would be interested in running this spot as a PSA for us, please contact Jean.
