2/19/22:  The first birthday is always special but this one is extra special for me since I’m going to my new home with Christine and Nathanial.  It was a long ride home and once here I made myself comfortable by taking a nap on the bed.  This is going to be the perfect home for me and so happy to have found the Wheelwright’s.

1/9/22:  Hi guys, I am a one year old collie girl at about 50 pounds.  I am at the rescue because my person could no longer care for me.  I am housetrained and sometimes crate trained although I don’t like it.  I’m good with the other dogs except I can sometimes be a bully and would need a dog that will put me in my place.  I know a few commands and we are working on those.  I don’t mind getting a bath or being brushed out.  That blow dryer scare me a bit though.  I’m a sweet girl that just needs to learn some manners.  The best part is I’m not afraid of the vacuum, fireworks or thunder.

Cody & Crickett (Adopted)

2/5/22:  We are headed to our new home with the Goodman’s.  Oh how excited we were to meet them and knew they were the ones for us.  They didn’t mind our shenanigans letting us jump up and give kisses.  When we get home, we will meet Maddie who is a senior lady.  We are sure she will probably help to keep us in line.  Thanks everyone for helping is to find this great home with Pam and Joe.

Crickett:  I’m 2 yeas old, 90 pounds and my ears stand up.  Also, my blaze is a little bit off center and I’m the taller one but you can’t see that.

Cody:  I’m 3 years, 70 pounds and my ears don’t stand up.  My blaze goes right down the center of my head.  I’m the shorter one but you can see that.

We are two brothers from another mother looking for a new home.  We would really like to stay together because we get along great and love each other.  It is hardly ever that we have a dispute between us and we are always looking for the other one.  We are in rescue because our person could not longer afford to take care of us.  We are both on diets because we are overweight.  We have been neutered since coming to rescue, updated on vaccinations and heartworm negative.  We get along fine with the other dogs and the cats are ok with us also.  We are housetrained and pretty in the house except one of us sometimes likes to steal things off the counter.  We are very sweet and affectionate fellows.

Tucker (Adopted)

1/20/22:  At my new home now with David and we are becoming best friends.  We go on walks together and sometimes I go to work with him.  He is a veterinarian so you know I will receive the best of care.  Dad had collies all his childhood years and always wanted one as an adult, but it just never seemed to work out until now.  Thanks everyone that helped me to find this great home.

1/9/22:  Hello folks, I am a 2 year old fellow at about 70 pounds.  I have to admit I could stand to lose a few pounds.  I am at the rescue because my person unexpectedly has to take care of family members.  They felt I was not getting enough interaction and having to spend to much time in the kennel.  So now you know I am crate trained and I am also housetrained, walk well on the leash and know basic obedience commands.  I know how to ring a bell to let you know I need to go outside.  The kong is one of my favorite toys if it has peanut butter in it.  I am good with children, the other dogs and all humans.  I enjoy ear rubs, belly rubs and cheerios for a treat.
