Spirit (Adopted)

8/1/25:  Today is the best day of my life and I have found a home with the Dyson Family.  After losing their male collie, they decided to give a rescue like me a chance at a wonderful life. I’ve already made a new friend, Josie, who’s showing me all the ins and outs of family living. I’m settling in beautifully, soaking up all the love and attention, and I truly feel like the luckiest dog in the world.

7/29/25:  Things have really started looking up for me lately, and I’ve had a lot of new experiences! I went to the groomer and came out looking like a brand-new dog. Then it was off to the vet for vaccinations and to be neutered. I’m getting the hang of leash walking and have mastered crate training.  I’ve also learned how nice it is to be petted and if you sit down, I’ll come over and ask for some attention. I’m doing much better about coming inside when called, especially now that the weather is so hot. I’m a smart guy and figured out the dog door within my first week here.  I’d love to have another dog in my new home, one to play with and help boost my confidence. I get along great with both males and females. As for cats, I’m a little scared of them, so I leave them alone.  I’ll need someone patient who will give me the time I need to settle in and adjust to a normal, loving life.

6/5/25:  Hello friends, I’m a one-year-old collie boy weighing about 65 pounds. Life hasn’t been very kind to me so far.  I spent my early days in a fenced area with several other dogs and hardly any human interaction. Because of that, I’m still a little shy around people, but I’m starting to learn what it feels like to be safe, cared for, and loved.  My coat is pretty matted right now, but I have a grooming appointment scheduled for next week. It will feel so good to get those mats out and let my skin breathe again. After that, I’ll be heading to the vet for my vaccinations and neuter.  I’m a work in progress and beginning a brand-new chapter. Please check back for updates as I continue to grow and heal.

Legend (Adopted)

6/20/25:  Chris and Randy came to visit today, and after a fun game of fetch, they decided I was the one for them! I’ll have another dog to play with and even a cat to share the home with. Life is good here with the Pomplins, and I’m already settling in nicely.

6/5/25:  Nice to meet you! I’m a 6-year-old collie gentleman, currently tipping the scales at around 90 pounds. I’m on a diet now, with a goal of getting back to a healthy 65 pounds.  I’m a well-mannered guy—housetrained, crate trained (though I don’t really need one), and I ride nicely in the car. I also walk well on a loose leash. I get along great with other dogs and don’t bother the cats at all.  I’ve already been to the groomer and will be neutered next week. I’m generally calm and easygoing, but I do enjoy a fun game of fetch.

Kelly & Skylar (Adopted)

6/20/25:  The moment Dan and Ilene arrived, we just knew they were here for us.  We ran out to greet them, tails wagging and full of excitement. We couldn’t stop jumping, giving kisses, and soaking up all the attention. There was no doubt in our minds we were going home with them. We jumped right into their truck without a second thought. Our prayers have been answered, and we feel so lucky to join the Rollyson Family, who have given so many collies loving homes over the years.

6/12/25:  Hello there, we’re Kelly and Skylar! I’m Kelly, a nine-year-old sable and white girl weighing about 70 pounds, and I’m Skylar, a seven-year-old tri-color girl at 75 pounds. We’ve been the best of friends our whole lives and are looking for a forever home where we can stay together.  We came to the rescue after our person had a serious accident and could no longer care for us. It was a big change, but we’re adjusting with love and patience. We’re both housetrained, walk beautifully on a leash, and love going for car rides.  Right now, we’re working on reaching a healthier weight, but we’re happy girls with gentle manners who get along well with other dogs. Our coat was shaved earlier in the year and will grow back soon enough.  If your heart has room for two loyal companions, we’d love to be part of your family.
