11/1/26:  Hi! I’m Grace, a 3-year-old girl with a sweet disposition and a pretty good head on my shoulders, if I do say so myself!  I arrived in rescue with Lance and Guinevere after our beloved owner began having serious health problems. He took wonderful care of us, but with his unexpected trips to the hospital, he worried about who would look after us while he was away. It was a difficult decision for him, but he wanted to make sure we would always be safe and cared for.  I’m a friendly, affectionate girl who enjoys the company of other dogs and doesn’t mind the cats one bit. I’ve been working on my leash walking, and although I still have a little learning to do, I’m figuring things out. In fact, I’m told I’m a pretty smart cookie! I catch on quickly and seem to understand what people are asking of me.  I’m also doing well with my housetraining and already know a few commands. I’ve been to the groomer and had my spay surgery, so that’s all behind me.  Now I’m ready to put those brains of mine to good use figuring out how to make my new family fall completely in love with me. Somehow, I don’t think that will be too difficult!
