Blaze (Adopted)

3/15/24:  When James came to the rescue he met both me and Sasha.  After taking Sasha home mom and him decided he should come back and adopt me also.  She was so happy to see me that she let me have her favorite spot on the couch.  We are going to have such a great life here with the Pifer’s.

3/5/24:  Will you just look at me after my bath and brushing.  I feel so much better and know I am beautiful.  Went to the vet for my neuter so I am now ready for my new home.  I showed them this week that I can pick that other ear up when I want to.  Doing great with my basic commands and do well on the leash.  I am housetrained and crate trained but I don’t need that crate.

2/18/24:  I am a 7 year old fellow in rescue because my person could no longer keep me.  I am a sweet, quiet kind of fellow at about 68 pounds.  This week I will be going for a good grooming to get all these matts out and then I will be neutered.

Thank you Susan Veld for helping with my medical needs.

Summit (Adopted)

3/16/24:  I’m joining the Hendrick’s Family and they have always had a collie in the home.  I am happy to be that collie now but the cat hates me which results in a lot of hissing and barking. I have completely changed since coming to my new home and have tons of energy. I have pretty much tested them in every way possible which made mom bring out that weapon of mass destruction, the squirt bottle.  The cat is now laughing and mom and dad have declared they shall overcome.  Yep, this is the right home for me.

3/5/24:  I’m at the vet for my neuter and they found out I have a tick disease.  Fortunately I was am not showing symptoms and I have started antibiotics to clear that up.

2/27/24:  I am a 7 year old fellow at about 60 pounds.  I am at the rescue because my person could no longer keep me.  I’m a nice guy with a gentle nature.  I get along with the other dogs and don’t mind the cat.  I am learning basic commands and am crate trained although I don’t need one.  Doing well with the housetraining and will be going this week for my neuter.

Thank you Lorraine Mottola for helping with my medical needs.

Sasha (Adopted)

3/7/24:  Going home to my new family today.  Clearly, I am will be spoiled and already sleeping in the bed.  Thanks everyone that helped me such a loving home with the Pifer’s.

3/5/24:  The vet didn’t find any BB’s left under my skin so that is good news.  I went for my beauty treatment this week and looking great.  I am very much a lady that gets along with everyone, even the cats.  No problem with house manners and also crate trained but do not need one.  Doing great with the basic commands and enjoy going for walks.

2/18/24:  I am a 5 year old little girl at 50 pounds.  My person could no longer keep me so I came to rescue.  I’m a sweetie and love to be petted but can be a bit shy.  It seems I might have some BB’s under my skin and will have an x-ray to determine that.  I am also going for a good grooming and can’t wait to get clean.
