Corbett (Adopted)

1/14/23:  I’m the first adoption of the year and joining the Donaldson Family.  They knew I was their kind of guy the minute they saw me.  Natasha is my new sister, and she is glad to have a friend.  She lets me be first in line for treats and we are planning big adventures together.  What a new life I have and one I never imagined could be for me.  Thanks to everyone that helped to make this possible for me.

1/6/23:  I am a 3 year old collie fellow at about 60 pounds.  I was picked up as a stray by the animal control and the rescue came to get me.  I have been neutered, vaccinated and heartworm tested which was negative.  I had a much needed grooming and all the mats were removed.  I am crate trained, housetrained and know some basic commands.  I’m pretty good on the leash but do get excited on walks.  I’m great with the other dogs but do like to chase the kitties if they run.  I have a lot of energy and an outstanding personality.  I’m just a fun kind of guy loving life.

Sparrow (Adopted)

12/17/22:  The kids have all gone to their new homes and it is my time to shine.  I am the last of the Illinois dogs to leave and Anita is taking me home today.  She has so much love for me and help me to get over my fears.  Once we arrived home I met Willow Grace, Fern Cooper and my new dad Sam.   Fenn and Willow are both smoothies like me and adopted from the collie rescue.  I know this is the perfect home for and I will blossom in Anita’s care.  Thanks to the people that brought me from IL and the ones that helped with my medical needs.  A special thank you to Debbie for helping me to whelp my puppies and care for them.

10/14/22: Please meet my 8 babies and I am very proud of them.  What a surprise for the rescue folks when they found out they were coming any day.  We have 4 boys and 4 girls and I am a very good mom.

Thrush (Adopted)

12/15/22:  Paula decided I was the one for her and she is ready to help me with my shyness.  She has a lot of experience with timid dogs and knows I just need love and pets.  I will have other dog friends to show me the ropes and give me some confidence.  Paula is very gentle and kind so I know I will be fine in her care.  Thanks everyone that helped me on the journey to find her.

12/7/22:  Had that neuter thing done and a much needed bath.  I have learned crate training, leash walking and pretty good with the housetraining.  I am great with the other dogs and I don’t mind those cats.  I’m an easy going, quiet kind of guy that is a bit shy.  I do enjoy pets and treats are great.  My hair has started to grow back and I’m going to be a sharp looking man.
