Shaffer (Adopted)

5/14/25:  I’ve joined Miss Kathy and my new little friend, Kyra, and I’ve settled in like I’ve always belonged here. I’m already loving the peaceful country life—it suits me perfectly. This is truly a wonderful home for me!

5/11/25:  The rescue team estimates that I’m between 3 and 4 years old. I’m a smaller guy, weighing in at about 50 pounds. I’ve got excellent house manners and am crate trained—though I don’t really need a crate. I know several obedience commands and walk nicely on a leash. I get along well with other dogs, and I’m okay with cats—though I might chase them if they run. I’m a laid-back kind of pup and not much of a barker. I was found wandering as a stray before landing at the shelter. Since arriving at the rescue, I’ve been neutered, tested for heartworms, dewormed, vaccinated, and even had a good bath!

Rembrandt (Adopted)

5/17/25:  Today, I officially joined the Culbertson Family! My new name is Fergus, but you can call me Gus or Fergie. I handled the three-hour car ride like a champ—slept through most of it. I already have two human brothers who love me and a dog brother to play with.  My first night here, I slept in a crate. I whined a little at first but then settled in and slept until 6:00 AM. This morning started with more playtime, and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve found the perfect home!

Monet (Adopted)

5/17/25:  My new dad picked me up today to take me to my forever home! I’m so excited to become a part of the Karwisch Family. I’ll have three human sisters, a playful doggie sister, and even a cat to share adventures with. It’s a busy household, but I just know I’m going to fit right in!
