Diego (Adopted)

12/13/20:  I sure did find the right person for me and I am in my new home with Scott.  He has a lot of experience with blind dogs and realizes we are no different from sighted dogs.  Honey Bee is my new collie, girl friend and she is showing me around.  As you can see I have made myself right at home and very comfortable here.

12/8/20:  I am a six to eight year old collie fellow at 66 pounds.  I have great house manners, ride well in the car and good on the leash.  I have cataracts that have progressed beyond the ability for surgery to fix therefor I cannot see.  Once I learn where everything is you would never know I am blind.  I go in and out the doggie door and enjoy exploring outside.  I had a lot of mats in my coat so it had to be clipped.  It will grow back soon.  I love to be with people and always in the same room with you.  It would benefit me to have the company of another dog to follow and play with.  I do very well with children and pretty much ignore the cats.  I am an outstanding companion who is willing to give my heart to anyone who will give their heart to me.

I am being fostered in Waynesboro, VA and if you are interested in giving me a home please contact Almost Home Collie Rescue.  https://almosthomeohio.org/meet-diego/
