6/25/22:  Here I am with my new family, The Shober’s.  Please meet my ny new sister Addy, my 95 year old Grandmother and my new parents Walt and Cindy. Grandmother likes to knit and I help by picking up the knitting bag.  We have been going for walks together then I chase the squirrels in the yard.  In the house I enjoy watching the TV.  Thanks to the folks that helped me to get such a great forever home.

5/28/22:  Scout here and I am an 8 year old collie fellow at about ? pounds.  I am actually Frisbee’s dad and we are here because our people no longer wanted us.  I’m a great guy, housetrained, like other dogs and the cats, great on the leash and a good family member.  I will be going to the vet soon for my neuter and checkup.

Thank you Elizabeth Holpuch and Barbara Shoaf for helping with the cost of my medical needs.

6/25/22:  Sherry and Don came to take me home today and you can see I am going to be very much loved.  Sherry teaches obedience classes and I’m going to be her demo dog.  This is the perfect job for me because I love attention and showing off.  I’m also going to become a therapy dog and ready I’m ready to show everyone what a happy dog I am.  I know I am going on a strict diet and being slim will help me in my new job.  Thanks everyone that helped me to find the perfect home.

5/16/22:  The little one at our house became allergic to my fur I had to go live outside.  My folks decided to let me come to the collie rescue so I can find a home where I can live indoors again which I really prefer.  I am 5 years old and weigh about 80 pounds.  You can see I’m very overweight and need to lose pounds so I am on a diet here.  I will be going to the vet soon for a much needed bath and an update on my vaccinations.  I get along with the other dogs and the cats are fine with me.  I am housetrained, enjoy rides in the car and walk pretty good on the leash.  My favorite thing is to play with the water hose and could chase it for hours.

Thank you Merry Day and Beth Bania for helping with my medical needs.

6/20/22: I get along with any other dogs and the cats that I really like. I am one of the best guys you will ever meet.  I am housetrained and that never was a problem and crate trained.  I have learned leash walking and to sit.  I’m a very smart fellow and learn really quick.

Here is a picture of mom and the collie is our dad.  As you can see from the DNA Report I got most of collie genes but a lot of husky coloring.  I do not have any of the husky traits like escaping. At one year old I was living on a farm just running loose with no vaccinations or flea / tick prevention.  Animal control decided to take me in and called the collie rescue.  Then went on our first car ride with Judy and Steve that brought us to rescue.  At first we were afraid to get out of the car but after some coaxing we finally gave it a try.  Right away we were each given our very own bowl of food and some fresh water.  Oh what a wonderful place this is and we are so thankful to the collie folks that also care about the mixes too.  We are the sweetest dogs, not barkers and very smart.  So far I have received vaccinations, wormed, flea treated and heartworm tested which was negative and neutered.  I did test positive for lyme disease because of all the ticks and now on antibiotics to clear that up.
