Tickle (Adopted)

8/7/22;  I have successfully wormed my way into Ms. Jean’s heart and will be staying here at the rescue.  We like to play hide and seek with me hiding her shoes and she has to look for them.  I have a pretty good gig here with my own bed and lots of people visiting that pet me.  I am very happy here and want to thank the folks that offered to give me a home.

6/7/22:  I am a very healthy 12 year old collie lady that has been well take care of and very much loved.  However unfortunate circumstances bring me to collie rescue to find a new home.  I am housetrained, walk great on the leash, good with the other dogs and cats also.  I enjoy a fluffy dog bed, going for a walk or laying outside under a tree.  I will be a permanent foster and this is where the rescue will pay for my approved medical needs and all you have to do is love me like I am going to live forever.

Thank you Sharon DeCheubel, Theresa Kleeman and Deborah Brown for donating to help with my medical needs.

6/25/22:  They said the right people for me would come and sure enough Matt and Melisa came to take me home today.  Right away it was clear I was the one for them and I could not be any happier.  It was a long ride home and I have my very own bed here.  I have met the cats and we are doing fine together.  Before coming to the rescue I never imagined such a wonderful like could exist for me.  Now look, here I am a new member of the Idelson Family. Thanks everyone who helped to make this happen for me.

6/20/22: This cats just love me and i love them.  I get along great with all other dogs too.  I have the best personality and an easy going kind of guy.  I did have some hair loss which has all healed up now. I am crate trained and housetrained and never a problem.  I have learned some basic commands and loose leash walking. Everyone that meets me loves me and I just need a chance.

Here is a picture of mom and the collie is my dad.  As you can see from the DNA Report I got most of collie genes but a lot of husky coloring.  I do not have any of the husky traits like escaping. At one year old I was living on a farm just running loose with no vaccinations or flea / tick prevention.  Animal control decided to take me in and called the collie rescue.  Then went on our first car ride with Judy and Steve that brought us to rescue.  At first we were afraid to get out of the car but after some coaxing we finally gave it a try.  Right away we were each given our very own bowl of food and some fresh water.  Oh what a wonderful place this is and we are so thankful to the collie folks that also care about the mixes too.  We are the sweetest dogs, not barkers and very smart.  So far I have received vaccinations, wormed, flea treated and heartworm tested which was negative and neutered.  I did test positive for lyme disease because of all the ticks and now on antibiotics to clear that up.

6/25/22:  Andrea and Bill came to meet the collies today and decided I was the one going home with them.  They have adopted from CRC many times over the years.  After arriving home I explored the entire house and yard.  Then I discovered I have my very own bed just for me so I took a nap.  Thanks everyone for helping me fine the Steinhour Family.
