Lark (Adopted)

12/2/22:  I’m joining the Samllin Familly and will be their 9th adoption from the collie rescue.  They have a lot of experience with shy girls like me.  I will get the love and the patience I need while learning about the good life.  I will have 3 other collies to show me the ropes and give me the confidence I need.  Thanks everyone that helped me on this long journey to my forever home.

10/23/22:  I have been to the groomer for a wonderful bath and a bit of a trim.  Starting to get over my shyness and no longer have to wear the long leash because I now like to come in the house.  I have been to the vet for my spay and ready to go.

Thea (Adopted)

10/30/22:  I now have a wonderful home with the Cooper’s.  We have lots of grandbabies for me to watch over when they visit.  The cat and I are coming to terms and getting along fine.  I am going to be very much loved here and so happy to be starting my new life.

10/23/22:  Went to the vet for a checkup and some bloodwork.  It showed that I have a low thyroid and that is why my coat is so crappy.  It is a medicine that cost about $5 a month and sure makes me feel better.  I enjoy a good game of fetch and playing in the yard.

10/11/22:  I’m a 3 year old collie girl that has been very well taken card of.  My person had no time for me so I came to the rescue with a respiratory infection.  I am a bit underweight, and my coat is dry and thin.  I am on antibiotics and hopefully this cough will go away soon.  I am crate trained, housetrained and good on the leash.  I’m great with the other dogs and don’t mind the cats.

Rooster (Adopted)

11/16/22:  Althea is taking me home and will teach me to enjoy the good life.  We have a nice, quiet home and I found my safe spot right away.  This is my new pal Willow, she is about me age and I am learning so much from her.  It will take time but I know I can overcome being scared given time.  Finding this great home was worth that long trip to NC.  Thanks everyone that helped to make this possible for me.

10/24/22:  What a difference a bath, brushing and some love can make.  I look and feel like a different dog.  I’m still a bit on the shy side and we are working on that.  I am gaining trust every day and it will just take time.
