6/2/26:  I am definitely the diva here at my new home with the Messinas. Being the only dog is amazing and all the attention belongs to me.  We go for walks around the neighborhood and I am settling in nicely. There are just a few house rules I’m still negotiating. For example, I’m not supposed to drink out of the birdbath. Personally, I think the birdbath water has a much richer flavor than the water bowl, but humans can be very particular about these things. I haven’t fully agreed to that rule yet, so discussions are ongoing.

5/8/26: I am a 4-year-old tri collie girl who could stand to lose a few pounds, but that should be easy because I love to run, play with toys, and romp around with the other dogs. I am housetrained, crate trained, ride nicely in the car, and am learning loose leash walking.  One new thing I’m getting used to is tile floors, and honestly, they are a little scary to me right now. I’m adjusting, but I still try my best to scoot across them as quickly as possible.  I am a very sweet girl who loves attention, petting, and being close to my people. Empress and I came into rescue together after our owner passed away. I’ve included a picture of myself before my grooming appointment when I was pretty dirty. Just look at how shiny and beautiful my coat is now after my spa day!

5/15/26:  I have joined the Hampton family and settled in beautifully. I have a terrier mix friend here, and we are getting along great. My favorite place to hang out is on the couch, and I am doing an excellent job keeping those pesky squirrels out of the yard. Michael and Melanie are so happy to have me here, and I am very happy to be here.

5/8/26:  I am a 4-year-old blue merle collie girl weighing about 50 pounds. I am housetrained, crate trained, ride nicely in the car, and do pretty well on a leash. I get along fine with the other dogs, but I’m not much of a fan of cats and will chase them if given the chance.  I came to the rescue because my person was moving and could no longer keep me. I’ve included a picture of myself before my grooming appointment  and everyone says I look even prettier now after my spa day.

5/3/26: Lisa and Reggie were visiting the very day Tempest and I arrived at the rescue, and the moment they met me, they knew I was meant to be part of their family. I have also gained a new collie companion, Blue, who was adopted from CRC before me. He is a sweet and very shy fellow, and everyone says he needs a confident lady like me to help bring him out of his shell.

Since coming into rescue, I have enjoyed a wonderful grooming, had my dental completed, and in a couple of weeks I will begin my heartworm treatment. Everything has fallen perfectly into place, and I truly believe this family was meant for me. The timing could not have been better, and I am so happy to have found such a loving home.
