Jonas (Adopted)

11/16/24:  Today I am going home with the Weghorst’s.  When we get there, I will meet Jack who will be my new dog friend.  He has been missing his buddy since he passed.  I am so happy to have a home and family of my very own.  I have come a long way since being tied to a tree.  Thanks everyone that helped to make this happen for me.

9/22/24:  I am about a 2 year old, sable collie boy that has been tied to a tree most of my life.  Thank goodness the rescue came to get me because that man was going to shoot me between the eyes if they didn’t.  I don’t really like the crate but will go in for a hotdog and we are working on that.  All these things are new to me and I am a bit cautious at first.  I am doing well with the housetraining and pretty good walking on the leash.  I get along with the other dogs and love the freedom of the fenced yard.  I can be a little shy until I get to know you but love to get pets.

Thank you Josue Pacheo for helping me on my way to a better life.

11/24/24:  Today Karen came to meet me and take me home.  My new collie friend here is Cassie and she is three.  We are having a great time playing and going on walks together.  Then we come in and have a long nap.  This Thanksgiving I am thankful to have found my forever home.

9/22/24:  I am a 6 year old, rough collie fellow taken to the shelter with two others because our owner passed away.  I have been very well cared for and loved during my years.  Please pardon the haircut which wasn’t what I requested but it will grow back.  I am housetrained, crate trained but don’t really need and good on the leash.  I get along with the other dogs and love people.

11/2/24:  Will you just look at my new family?  My life just keeps getting better and never imagined this could happen for me.  I went from being all alone in a 10X10 dog lot to having the greatest, biggest family of all.  I love playing in the leaves in the yard and when we all us boys go on walks together.  I must be the luckiest guy ever and so happy to be a part of the Roodhouse boys.

10/4/24:  Just arrived at the rescue and I see I am on my way to a new and exciting future.  I am a five year old fellow that has spent a lot of time in a 10 X 10 fence with a dog house.  I did get out for a good run each day and went into the garage when it was really cold.  I understand I will be going to a groomer this week to get this five years of coat off.  As you can imagine I am really enjoying running in the fenced yard.  My evaluation is in progress and please check back to see how I am doing.

Thank you Elisabeth Miranowski and Pamela Gregorczyk for helping with my cost.
