Tasha (Adopted)

11/24/25:  I am the newest member of the Smith family, and I couldn’t be happier. Dilly who also came from CRC is my new collie buddy, and little Ruth is my very own baby human. Dad keeps joking that he’s completely outnumbered with all of us girls in the house, but he doesn’t mind one bit. In fact, he spoils us with love, treats, and attention.  Every day feels like a dream. We have so much space to run, explore, and play, and more toys than I ever imagined. I never knew a life could be this full of joy, safety, and love. I’m so grateful to have found my forever home and I can’t wait for all the adventures ahead.

11/14/25:  I’m a one-year-old collie girl, and I’m so grateful to be here at the rescue. As you can see, I’m pretty skinny and my coat hasn’t filled in yet. I came from what they call a backyard breeder. There were many other dogs there, and I feel so sad for the ones who are still waiting to be helped.  Because food was scarce, I tend to gobble mine down quickly, but I’m learning that I’ll never have to worry about that again. I’m on my way to a much better life now, one where a loving family will take care of me.  I’m a sweet, petite little girl who gets along well with the other dogs and doesn’t mind the cats. I’m doing wonderfully with housetraining, crate training, and I’m learning my basic commands and leash walking, too.  I was very good for my first every bath and feel so pretty now.

Haze (Adopted)

11/3/25:  Pam and Summer came to meet me, and together we decided that their home was the perfect place for me. Pam has lots of collie experience and understands that I’m a shy little girl at heart. We live at the end of a quiet street just the peaceful spot I’d been hoping for. I’m already starting to settle in, and Summer is gently showing me the ropes. Us ladies are going to do just fine together.

11/9/25:  I’m a 4½-year-old petite tri-color collie girl who found her way to the rescue after my family had to move somewhere dogs weren’t allowed. I can be a little shy at first, but once I get to know you, my gentle and loving nature really shines through.  I’m housetrained, crate trained, and know my basic obedience commands. I’m not a big fan of spending time outdoors preferring to go out just long enough to take care of business and then head right back inside. Loud noises make me a bit nervous, and I can get startled by passing cars on walks, especially the noisy ones.  I get along nicely with other dogs and don’t mind cats at all. My favorite treats are carrots, green beans, and even asparagus! I’m a sweet, affectionate little girl just waiting to share my love with a special someone.
