Levitt (Adopted)

12/15/23:  I’m headed out on a 17 hour journey to my new home.  My new dad came to meet me and brought Miss Lylah who gave me a thumbs up.  We hit it off right away and I am so excited to have a girlfriend.  We made some stops along the way and I got to stay in a hotel.  I have so many new things to experience and ready to start my new life.

11/6/23:  I am a smooth collie fellow about 2 to 3 years old.  Relic and I were picked up by the animal shelter just wondering around as strays.  We both did have an embedded prong collar in our neck and thankfully that has been removed.  The shelter folks think we were probably tied outside all the time.  Clearly no one check to see how tight our collars were.  I’m a bit more outgoing and really loving this new life.  So many new things to learn about like being in the house and freedom to run around the fenced in yard.  There is plenty to eat and I have learned about treats and toys.

11/15/23:  I’m the happiest collie girl in the world and have joined the Rhodus Family.  I have my very own girl and I greet her each day when she comes home from school.  We have been going for long walks and I am learning to play frisbee.  I have 2 dogs beds to choose from and lots of toys.  I really love it here and my folks tell me they love me a hundred times a day.

10/18/23:  I’m 3 years old and a bit overweight so they put me on a diet.  I’m at the rescue because my people didn’t want me anymore.  That’s fine with me because I had to stay outside and they didn’t play with me much.  I’m housetrained and crate trained but don’t really need it.  I ride well in the car and doing good with the loose leash walking.  I’m good with the other dogs but do prefer the company of males.  The cats are fine with me also.

11/15/23:  I have found my new home with Julie and Gary.  I have a collie buddy named Sophie and she is glad to have a friend.  We like to watch for the whitetail deer and chase the squirrels together.  There is a lot of fenced in land to explore and patrol here.  I get to sleep pretty much anywhere I want to, even on the bed or the couch.  I get to go for walks and lots of exercise.  Now if I could just talk them into giving me some of that table food my life would be complete but Sophie said that isn’t going to happen.  It is nice to be in a home where I am so much loved.

10/29:23:  I was rescued from a bad situation by some wonderful folks who’s collie recently passed.  They had me groomed, neutered and fully vaccinated at the vet.  They fell in love with my great personality and really wanted to give me a home but I just couldn’t get over my dislike of the two cats.  For their safety I came to the collie rescue to find my new home.  I am about 5 years old and 63 pounds.  I am housetrained, crate trained, know basic commands and walk well on the leash.  A sweet, loving kind of guy that is good with the other dogs, love children and people.
