Kelly & Skylar (Adopted)

6/20/25:  The moment Dan and Ilene arrived, we just knew they were here for us.  We ran out to greet them, tails wagging and full of excitement. We couldn’t stop jumping, giving kisses, and soaking up all the attention. There was no doubt in our minds we were going home with them. We jumped right into their truck without a second thought. Our prayers have been answered, and we feel so lucky to join the Rollyson Family, who have given so many collies loving homes over the years.

6/12/25:  Hello there, we’re Kelly and Skylar! I’m Kelly, a nine-year-old sable and white girl weighing about 70 pounds, and I’m Skylar, a seven-year-old tri-color girl at 75 pounds. We’ve been the best of friends our whole lives and are looking for a forever home where we can stay together.  We came to the rescue after our person had a serious accident and could no longer care for us. It was a big change, but we’re adjusting with love and patience. We’re both housetrained, walk beautifully on a leash, and love going for car rides.  Right now, we’re working on reaching a healthier weight, but we’re happy girls with gentle manners who get along well with other dogs. Our coat was shaved earlier in the year and will grow back soon enough.  If your heart has room for two loyal companions, we’d love to be part of your family.

Bravo (Adopted)

6/7/25:  Lisa and Richie came for a visit and decided to make it official by taking me home! They’re experienced with shy dogs and understand I’ll need a little time to settle in. I’ve already made a new friend, Abby—she’s about my age and full of confidence, which I’m sure she’ll help me build. It’s peaceful here, just the way I like it. They’ve already figured out how smart I am and know I’m a truly special dog.

6/4/25:  Well, my DNA test results are in, and just as we thought—I’m mostly Collie! The Border Collie in me shows up in my coloring and my smarts, but when it comes to personality and temperament, I’m all Collie through and through. I’m a gentle, easygoing, and quiet kind of guy. Fetch isn’t really my thing, but I do enjoy trotting around the yard with a toy now and then.

5/11/25  I’m a 4-year-old, smart and lovable guy weighing in at about 60 pounds. I recently came to the rescue after my previous family could no longer afford to care for me. I’ve always been well looked after, so this big change has me a little confused.  I may not look exactly like a traditional Collie, but I’ve got the heart of one—and my DNA test is on the way to confirm it! I’m a sweet, loyal companion who loves to be by your side. I’m already doing great with basic obedience and walk nicely on a loose leash.  I’m house-trained, crate-trained (though I don’t really need the crate), and I ride like a champ in the car. I get along wonderfully with kids, other dogs, and even cats. I might be a little shy at first, but once I get to know you, I’ll be your devoted friend.

Sparky (Adopted)

6/14/25:  After a long ride to the Kents’ home, I’m officially part of the family! I got super excited when we arrived when our first adventure was a walk around the neighborhood. So far, the cat and I have agreed on a truce, and we’re getting along just fine. This place is perfect for me, and I’m already soaking up all the love and attention I could ever want.

6/1/25:  I’m a sweet nine-year-old Collie fellow weighing about 55 pounds. After my person passed away, I found my way to the rescue. Since arriving, I’ve had a spa day at the groomer, and I’m scheduled to be neutered next week.  I’m housetrained, crate trained, travel nicely in the car, and get along well with other dogs. My full evaluation is still in progress, so stay tuned—my bio will be updated as the rescue team learns more about me!
