11/1/25:  I finally made it to my new home with the wonderful Pirooznia family, and I did so well on the drive! We stopped once along the way to stretch our legs and take a short walk, but I slept peacefully for most of the trip. When we arrived, I was full of curiosity and excitement and trotted around exploring every corner of the house, taking in all the new sights and smells.  This is my new buddy, Blu. We look so much alike that we could almost be twins, except Blu is a Sheltie! He’s been such a great host, showing me around and making me feel right at home. The best part? He invited me up on the couch right away.  As you can see, I’ve already settled in beautifully. I feel safe, happy, and so loved. I can tell this is the beginning of a wonderful new chapter, and I can’t wait to see what adventures await me with my new family and my pal Blu.

10/19/25:  I’m a sweet three-year-old Collie girl weighing 55 pounds, just the right size for both playtime and snuggles! I’m fully housetrained, love my crate (especially with my favorite toy inside), and I’m great on leash walks and car rides. I get along wonderfully with other dogs, and even cats.  I already know several commands like “sit,” “come,” “paw,” and “go potty,” and I’m eager to learn more. Sometimes I forget I’m not a tiny dog and love to curl up in your lap for extra cuddles.

10/31/25:  I am so happy to share that I’m the newest member of the Wood Family! It was a long ride home, but I was such a good traveler the whole way. This little dog named Daisy is my brand-new sister! She’s adorable, and I really hope we’ll become the best of pals once we get to know each other better.  My new family has big plans for me and I’m going to train to become a therapy dog! That sounds like the perfect job for me because I love people and want to make them smile. But first, I’ll be going to school to learn everything I need to know to do my job well. I can already tell I’m going to be very loved and cared for here. My heart is full, and I can’t wait to start this wonderful new chapter with my amazing family.

9/26/25:  Hi friends! I grew up in the country with lots of acres to run on. One day my curious paws took me onto a neighbor’s land and yikes, he shot me right in the behind. My person didn’t have a car or the money to get me to the vet, but thankfully Collie Rescue swooped right in and saved me. The very next day I had a little surgery and now I’m all patched up and feeling good as new.  I’m about 3 years old, weigh around 70 pounds, and I’m just a big happy guy. I walk nicely on a leash, I’m learning my basic commands, and I really do love everyone, dogs, cats, and people too. I’m crate trained, doing great with housetraining, and I’ve got a beautiful red coat that’s about to get spruced up at the beauty shop. After that, I’ll be heading back to the vet for my neuter.

10/21/25:  I’ve settled into my new home with Miss Susan and her two cats! At first, the cats weren’t quite sure what to think of me giving me a few curious looks from a safe distance but they’re slowly coming around and getting used to having me here. Miss Susan and I have already become the best of friends. We go on long walks every day, exploring the neighborhood and enjoying the fresh air. After our adventures, we love to relax together on the couch, where I get plenty of pets and snuggles. Life with Susan (and my new feline roommates) is turning out to be pretty wonderful!

10/19/25:  I’m a handsome four-year-old smooth Collie fellow, weighing in at a perfect 53 pounds which is a perfect weight for me.  You may notice I’m currently sporting this stylish collar. That’s because I was recently neutered, and my friends don’t want me to lick my incision. Honestly, I don’t mind it at all, it’s quite comfortable, and I like to think it brings out the color of my eyes!  I’m a gentle, affectionate guy with a heart full of love for everyone I meet. I enjoy playing with my doggy friends and get along just fine with cats, too. Whether it’s running in the yard, lounging by your side, or greeting new people, I’m always happy to be part of the fun.  I’m also a well-mannered companion, housetrained, crate trained, and very good on a leash. I take my walks proudly and am working on perfecting my obedience commands. I’m a quick learner and love to please, so with just a little guidance, I’ll be a superstar student.  All in all, I’m an easygoing, affectionate Collie who’s ready to bring warmth, laughter, and loyalty to a forever family.
