Alton (Adopted)

6/18/23:  I am so happy to have joined the Broich Family.  I fit in so well, it is like I always lived here.  They let me jump on the couch for snuggles and pets.  I have a new collie friend and Lexi has showed me all around the yard.  This is the perfect home for me and I’m so happy to have found Connie and Dave.

6/15/23:  I am a six year old collie fellow glad to be here at the rescue.  I have been passed around a bit with going from a friend to a friend.  I’m a great guy and excited to find my forever home.  I am great with the other dogs and don’t pay any attention to the cats.  I’m learning basic obedience commands and lose leash walking.  I am crate trained and no problem with the housetraining.  I am a bit skinny and getting lots of food here.

Valley (Adopted)

6/10/23:  Hannah comes from a family of collie owners so it was time for her to have one of her own.  It is good to be in my new home and have my own person.  The couch has become my special nook and I have a brand new bed.  I have a buddy to play with and his name is Willie.  We are about the same age so this will work out great.  I have met the chickens and have absolutely zero interest in them.

5/7/23:  Hi folks, I am a 1 ½ year old collie girl.  I am in the rescue because my folks were moving where they could not have a dog.  I’m a good girl that has very good house manners.  I am housetrained, crate trained and not destructive.  I am good one the leash, riding in cars and love attention.  I am enjoying playing with the other dogs and then cats are fine but will chase them if they run.

Thank you Sara Crayton and Susan Harrison for helping with my medical needs.

Bennie (Adopted)

5/20/23:  My new home is with Jim and Becky.  They sure are glad to have a collie in the house again after their fellow passed and I sure am glad to have this great home.  Jim and I go for long walks every day around the neighborhood.  I have so many new toys to play with and a new bed to sleep on.  This is going to be the perfect life for me.

5/7/23:  Bennie here, a 4 year old fellow at about 53 pounds.  My person had to start traveling for work and she felt like I was spending to much time by myself.  I know basic commands, great on the leash and love playing fetch.  I am a very smart guy that is great with the other dogs and cats are ok with me.  I am working on that housetraining a bit because I feel the need to mark but neutering will fix that.

Thank you Susan Harrison for helping with my medical needs.
