Blade (Adopted)

8/1/23:  Toney has always had CRC collies and looks like I’m going to be the third one.  This young lady needed a playmate and I’m the perfect guy.  I’m getting lots of belly rubs here and sometimes we all wrestle together.  This is the perfect home for me.

7/12/23:  Hello folks, I’m a fun loving, 52 pound collie fellow.  The rescue is guessing me to be about 3 years old.  I am the best leash walker and will stay right by your side.  I do well riding in the car, housetrained and crate trained.  I am still learning some manners like not to jump up or take things from the counter no matter how tempting.  I am great with the other dogs and love to play all day.  I don’t bark much but when I do it is a high pitch bark.  If the cats don’t run I am fine with them but if they do I will chase them because remember I love to play.  I was picked up as a stray by the animal control.  At that time I was covered in ticks which gave me lyme disease.  I am being treated for antibiotics for that.

Bronco (Adopted)

8/13/23:  Nobody could figure out why I wouldn’t walk on the grass.  When the Morgan’s came to visit don’t you know I walked right out to the middle of the yard to greet them.  Everyone was astounded but I knew this was the family for me.  We go for lots of walks together and I have found me a great spot on the couch.  I just love it here and the cats like me too.

8/13/23:  I’m a 1 ½ year old collie fellow at about 55 pounds.  I lived on four acres but since there was no fence I would sometimes wonder off.  My person felt it would be safer for me to find a home with a fenced yard.  I am a perfect gentleman on the leash, housetrained and crate trained.  I am great with the other dogs and ok with the cats also.  I am an easy going, gentle kind of guy that rarely barks.  Although I lived on 4 acres I do not like walking in the grass.  I will step off the patio into the grass just far enough to do my business then back on the patio.  I won’t even follow the other dogs into the grass when we are playing.  Don’t try pulling me into the grass because that won’t work either.  The rescue folks are not sure why I do not like the grass.  I’m a healthy fellow and do not have allergies to the grass.

Hampton (Adopted)

7/30/23:  Folks, I am a working man now and will be going to the office with Nick each day.  After losing his CRC adopted collie the house was just to quiet so he went searching the website and found me.  I know what a lucky fellow I am to have found this great home.  We are going to have so many adventures together.

6/15/23:  I’m a 4 year old collie male at about 60 pounds.  When my family lost our home they decided it would be best if I came to the rescue.  I have always had a fenced yard to play in and have been very well take care of.  I am housetrained, crate trained, know sit, down, bow, turn, and crawl.

Thank you Joel Kane and Lorraine Mottola for helping with my medical cost.
